Summer Water Temperatures

Posted by

Summer    Doesn’t this look great?

As everyone enjoys the Summer, Business owners, Schools, and Organisations need to keep a careful eye on their cold water temperatures.

Cold water feeds can easily exceed 25 deg C leading to a potential build-up of legionella bacteria.

If you have tank fed cold water take the temperature on a regular basis and if it exceeds 20 deg C . Put in place measures to reduce the same – by flushing taps etc.

If you have mains supplies, you may need to flush taps daily to reduce standing temperatures.

If you have taps that create a spray, we recommend you remove the same.
